Redundancy ... where to turn for help as an employee or employer?

With news of UK redundancies in October 2020 being double last year's rate and the following months looking much the same, we've been busy at the Meaningful Recruitment base offering our help to those in need.

An estimated 842 British employers told the government of plans to cut jobs putting circa 51,000 jobs at risk - that's more than any month on record before the pandemic outbreak and 2.5 times the level of the previous year (data sourced from BBC News). It's a stressful time for everyone involved - for employees affected directly, employers making difficult decisions, families, loved ones and work colleagues who remain in their positions losing their team members.

For those having trouble keeping on track or lacking motivation to aim for new work goals our Accountability Partner Scheme has helped to meet this need.
