Information to help the vulnerable.

April 1, 2020

Our connections at Meaningful Recruitment are helping many people who are facing hardship, challenging situations and high levels of stress.  We want to share the information and help those who are finding themselves in vulnerable positions.  There are incredible organisations that are available to help.  Please pass this information on and share the details which might help those in need.

We believe we can achieve much more if we work together now and in the future.

If you'd like to volunteer your energy and help these organisations there are links below so you can get in touch directly with them.  Any help will be much appreciated.

The NSPCC  help those experiencing child abuse.  It is preventable - not inevitable. And it’s up to each of us to do everything possible to keep innocent children safe from abuse, so they can grow up healthy and thrive.

Play your part to protect children.  Go to : www.nspcc.org.uk  to find out more.

Would you like to volunteer and work on Childline which is linked to the NSPCC?  If so click here for more information.

Calls to Childline are free - here's the number: 0800 1111

Crisis  do incredible work helping the homeless.  People who are homeless are being hit especially hard by the Coronavirus outbreak. They're helping to get vital care to vulnerable people.

People who are sleeping rough are more likely to suffer from respiratory conditions. They can’t wash their hands. And if someone is sleeping rough or in a crowded night shelter, it’s impossible to self-isolate.

Go to www.crisis.org.uk to find out how you can get involved.

Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. There are many at the moment who are struggling with their mental health during these challenging times.

Mind support those in need with their Infoline and helpful information.  They're doing great work to raise awareness and are helping to promote a deeper understanding of the mental health problems people are experiencing in their homes, at work and in our communities.

Go to www.mind.org.uk for more information.

The Infoline number is  0300 123 3393  . They're open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (except for bank holidays).
