Joining eXXpedition's Round The World Sailing Voyage

This is a great place to add a tagline.

About the voyage with eXXpedition

eXXpedition Round the World 2019-2021 is a series of 30 voyages that will see 300 women sail to look at the impact of plastic and toxics in our global seas. In total, we will sail 38,000 nautical miles.  I was due to sail on leg 12 from Fiji to Vanuatu in May 2020 but due to the pandemic our sailing voyage has been put on hold.  I will now sail on leg 14 from Cairns To Darwin in July 2021 navigating 1,200 miles over 11 days.

What are the aims of the voyage?

  • Support solutions-based science by contributing to world class scientific studies that are urgently needed to inform upstream solutions and close the loop on plastic waste on land

  • Shifting perceptions by using our platform to inform and educate so that people can better understand the real problem of micro-plastics and use that to shape actions and solutions

  • Create a community of change-makers and inspiring global ambassadors to tackle plastic pollution back on dry land. During their ocean experience participants discover the power of their individual roles in addressing the issues. Empowered by their first-hand experience at sea we provide the tools, confidence and support they need to become effective leaders that can influence meaningful impact through their personal and professional communities
